Plugin Files
Plugin File format is helpful in creating or modifying the PE Builder Plugin Files. In this the main .inf file is pebuilder.inf file that are specifically used for PE Builder. In this file user cannot bring any changes and if they want to do so then they will have to use Plugin files. Entire Plugin Files are located in the Plugin directory. To have valid PE Builder it is necessary that every .inf file should be in directory along with “pebuilder”.
User can use Enable and Disable buttons to turn the Plugin on and off. The Plugin .inf files must be in ASCII file and not in Unicode. But due to some reason the Plugin file may be corrupted and the files or folders related this will become inaccessible. Possible reason for corruption may be failure to follow the downgrading procedure, virus attack, some software error, hardware malfunctioning and many more. But this does not mean that user will not be able to access the Plugin file folders again. The corruption can be resolved easily and Plugin files will become accessible again.

.8bi – It is also known as “Photoshop Plug-in”, basically its function is to add additional features like extra format support, extra filters in Adobe Photoshop. Finally the Plug-ins folders are placed within Photoshop application folder. It supports Windows operating system and Mac OS.
.plugin – It is also known as “Mac OS X Plug-in”, its basic function is to add features and hardware that supports programs in Mac OS X, that are installed in the folder of main library. It can also be installed with many Mac OS X applications and used in the corresponding application folder. It supports Mac OS.
.xll – Also popular as “Excel Add-In File”, it contains the functions and other tools that are helpful in enhancing the capabilities of MS Excel and is similar to .dll but is written MS Excel. It supports Mac OS and Windows operating system.
